Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Regulatte AI, operated by Polar Insight Limited (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using Regulatte AI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Regulatte AI automatically monitors official UK financial services regulatory publications (FCA, PRA, HM Treasury, legislation.gov.uk) and uses artificial intelligence to produce plain-English briefings for Non-Executive Directors and board members.

Access is currently by invitation only. During the early-access period, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time and for any reason, with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Nature of the content

Content produced by Regulatte AI is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, regulatory, financial, or professional advice. Briefings are AI-generated summaries and may not capture every relevant development or correctly characterise every regulatory requirement.

You must always refer to the original source documents before taking any action or forming a professional opinion based on content from Regulatte AI. We accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your access credentials with any other person or organisation.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Republish or resell AI-generated briefings as your own original regulatory analysis without attribution.

5. Intellectual property

The Regulatte AI platform, brand, and software are owned by Polar Insight Limited. The underlying regulatory source documents are published by their respective authorities (FCA, PRA, HM Treasury, and UK Parliament) and are subject to their own licences (primarily Open Government Licence).

AI-generated briefing content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use as a NED or board member. You may include summaries or extracts in board packs, provided you note the source as “Regulatte AI” and refer colleagues to source documents.

6. Pricing and payment

Pricing for paid access will be confirmed when your subscription is activated. During the early-access period, no charge will be applied without your explicit agreement. Paid subscriptions are per individual NED and are non-transferable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polar Insight Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Regulatte AI, including (without limitation) losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in that period.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
